I started dancing with Ashland Regional Ballet at the age of six, and I still continue to dance presently. I have spent nearly 12 years with intensive training in ballet, modern, tap, jazz, and pointe. My schedule usually consisted of dancing from 4pm to 9pm Mondays-Thursdays. On Saturdays I usually danced from 10am to 4:30pm. Throughout my years at Ashland Regional Ballet, I encountered many injuries. However, I felt that not even that could stop me from my dancing career. I persisted through these injuries, and still continued to dance, even after major surgery. Dance has meant the world to me for many years, and the opportunity to dance has made me into the person I am today. I am a dedicated individual, and I have loved dancing for this company for many years. This year I will graduate as an Ashland Regional Ballet Alumni, and I hope to continue my training in dance for the rest of my life.
